Roberto Gowler, Denali 6/27 called in from 11,000'

His team got into 11,000' yesterday and are planning to make a back carry from their cache at 10,500' today. Back carry's are short and sweet and allow for a longer breakfast, like pancakes and Vermont maple syrup. Everyone's doing well. 11,000' is the start to the upper mountain where we switch from snow shoes to crampons and transfer weight from sled to pack due to the steeper terrain.
