AMS Guide Pat Ormond called in last night. They rolled into 14K yesterday. They had a good move and his team is still going great. They are doing a back carry today. It's 9:15 and the sun should have hit their tents about 20 minutes ago. I bet they are having a leisurely morning before they go retrieve their supplies from below. They only have about a 20-30 minute hike from camp to get to their cache as it is all down hill. It'll take an hour or so to bring it back to camp.
Pat said they will try to do a front carry tomorrow to somewhere on the 16 ridge if the weather allows. He talked to Tom Torkelson, with DAV, and as of last night Tom was still hoping to launch for the summit this morning.
Pat's team is planning on taking a rest day the day after tomorrow and then they will start looking for a good day to move up to high camp.
