Today was a beautiful day with lots of activity! Guides Forest Wagner and Chris Smith packed for their Denali West Buttress Expedition that launches tomorrow. Team members had their equipment checked and participated in a Denali Skills Workshop with instructors Melis Coady and Leighan Falley. They reviewed technical rope work and taught Denali specific techniques of glacier travel to the team, and everyone had a good day.
We update the AMS blog whenever we hear from guides and instructors reporting from the field. Some staff call in more frequently than others. No news is good news and indicates all is going according to plan. We will do our best to keep those who want to be up to date, up to date.
