Tom Torkekelson with DAV and the 12 Day Mountaineering Course

Word on the mountain is that our team lead by Tom Torkelson and Elliot Gaddy slept late at high camp today and they are making their way back to the 14,200' camp in good weather conditions.

When they arrive, they will be met by two of our other AMS teams led by Joey McBrayer and Pat Ormond with welcoming smiles and hot drinks. The DAV crew will most likely rest a bit at 14,200' tonight and then descend to base camp, they hope to fly out tomorrow or wednesday.

the 14,200' camp on Denali. These climbers are heading back into camp, as the Tom, Elliott and the DAV team are today.

AMS instructor Nick D'Alessio who is teaching the May 12 day Mountaineering Course with Beth Cleary, called in from the North fork of the Ruth Glacier.  The class started their journey in the Ruth Gorge. They are having an awesome time.  They were snug in camp when they called.  Their plans were to go through several more classes tonight and then continue on their move toward the base of Explorers peak.  They are hoping to climb Explorers peak the following day, weather permitting.

All is well with all of our teams.
