AMS 6/25 Expedtion Update

The AMS June 25th expedition led by Rob Gowler, Curtis Green and Simon Frez-Albrecht team is doing well.  They remain at 14,200 camp today and are waiting for the winds to decrease so they can  move up to high camp at 17,200'.  They are in camp with a few other teams who are also waiting to ascend. They are enjoying each others camaraderie. They are comfortable and are doing very well while they wait.

We hope that the weather forecasters are correct when they say that tomorrow will be a day with significantly less winds and clearing skies, which will allow them to move higher and be poised to make a summit attempt later this week, if the weather allows.
