The AMS Kentuky Derby Team led by AMS guides Josh Hoeschen and Jeremiah Phelps reached the summit yesterday!

This is our first 2016 Denali expedition and we are happy to know they got to the top. They flew in to start their climb on May 2, making yesterday their 13th day on Denali. They have taken advantage of good weather opportunities on their way up.  They are sleeping in and eating as much as they can today, before beginning their descent.

We're looking forward to seeing them back at the AMS HQ in Talkeetna in a few days!
