AMS Mountaineering 6 day Course- June 6

AMS photo of Foraker shrouded in clouds with "Little Switzerland" in the foreground. Amazing black and white by Nate Emerson who led a recent 12 day course.
AMS instructors Kai Girard, Chelsea Bomba, and Chris Miller have a fun team of climbers that just launched into "Little Switzerland" aka as the Pika Glacier in the Alaska Range. They are going to get an awesome plane ride in with views of the surrounding mountains on this bluebird day. One student is local named Luke who grew up in Talkeetna and is finally getting to play in his "back yard"

At 10:45pm we received the message from Kai: "Hello! We've got the Pika to ourselves, and it's beautiful!"
