The May 25th Expedition led by Cody Pitz, Nicole De Petris, and Joe Grout has begun. Yesterday, they were very efficient in packing lunches and getting gear checks done. Today, they went in for their NPS briefing, practiced fixed-line ascension, ate a hearty lunch, weighed their gear, and packed up to go.

Gear check on Day 1 is always great - it brings peace of mind to lay everything out one last time and organize to bring what you need and nothing else!
