Denali Availability - update!

  Guided  Denali, West Buttress Expeditions  - 2023

 A few places remain for the 2023 season.

Denali expeditions require previous experience and a high level of fitness, if this mountain has been a goal, now is the time to join one of our small teams.

Expedition price includes; a small team size: max of 6 climbers with 3 AMS Mountain Guides, NPS climber fees, 2 nights pre-climb Talkeetna lodging, ground transport between Anchorage and Talkeetna, and a lot more.  

Joining a locally based guide service makes a real difference. 

$11,800.00 per person, 22 days 

Maximum team size:  6 climbers, 3 guides

April 27: 6 Day Mountaineering Course

Our 6 Day Mountaineering Course is off to the glacier! After a morning spent going over everyone's gear, packing lunches, and practicing on the fixed lines, our happy crew settled in for a hearty lunch to set them up for their arrival into the Alaska Range.  This is a fantastic and diverse group that will undoubtedly have a great time learning lots in the mountains with Chris and Chelsey!  We can't wait to hear their stories and see their photos.

 

SKi Mountaineering Course RETURNS!

The Ski Mountaineering Course returned yesterday with massive smiles! 

This group had all the weather and enjoyed skiing within the Ruth Glacier area of Denali National Park and Preserve. They camped, they skied, they learned, they laughed and so much more...

Custom Ski Mountaineering Course has begun!

This team of adventurous friends is flying into the Alaska Range for a week of fun times and great ski turns deep within the Alaska Range.

April 19th- Mountaineering Course Has Begun!

Our students are a duo of brothers who flew to Alaska just to take a mountaineering course with us in the Alaska Range.  We had a great day with them- going over gear, packing lunches and practicing fixed-line ascensions- before they headed off to the airport.  It is a beautiful day to fly, with hardly a cloud in the sky and the sun blazing.  With their instructors Katie and Keagan, this is sure to be a great group, that will learn a lot and have a great time doing it!

The mountaineering season in the Alaska Range has begun! Yesterday we launched our first course of the season; six skiers and two guides flew in for a 7-day Ski Mountaineering Course.

They spent the day at AMS HQ reviewing gear, practicing fixed line ascension and having a hearty lunch before flying at 4:00 pm.

They will be exploring Glacier One, the first glacier as you head up the massive Ruth Glacier. There are loads of places to explore and lots of learning in a spectacular setting.
