We just got word that our May 14th team, led by Keith Sidle, with guide Ben Farrar and climber Hector, have just reached the summit of McKinley/Denali! A big congratulations to the team!
After taking a couple of days at High Camp to rest and wait for the winds to die down, the team was greeted with more favorable weather today- and they were able to make a well-rested ascent to the summit.
Hector had 2 stated goals for this expedition: "smiling a lot and making it above 15,000 feet".
We can't wait to see the photos of Hector's smile at 20,310 feet!
