Update from the Mountains - June 2, summit and nice day up there!

 The May 14 Expedition, led by Keith Sidle and Ben Farrar, with Hector, climbed to the summit of Denali (Mt. McKinley) at 20,310 feet, the highest point in North America. Congratulations! They reached the top at 3:40 PM local time today. This is a massive day, and they are on their way back to high camp now. They are moving well.  They will spend the night at high camp before descending to 14,200 feet tomorrow.

The May 21 Expedition, led by Tyler Thompson, Madelyn Ferdock, and Will Plovanic, climbed up the fixed lines to 16,300+ feet. Today, the cached extra gear, food, and fuel for higher moves. They are back at 14,200 feet now and will sleep well tonight. At this point, 14K Camp is starting to feel relatively normal, as they will be fairly acclimated to this higher elevation. They plan to either rest at 14,200' tomorrow.

The May 25th Expedition, led by Cody Pitz, Nicole De Petris, and Joe Grout, reports strong work from the entire crew. They had an excellent day carrying and caching around Windy Corner to 13,500 feet and are hoping to move to the 14,200-foot camp tomorrow, if weather conditions allow.

The May 30th Custom Expedition, led by Eric Roberts and Corey Cooke, reports that all are doing well, and they stayed at 11,000 feet today, and to keep busy, they "did some fitness laps", and reviewed protocols and procedures for moving on steeper terrain and and clipping through running pro. If the weather allows, they plan to move to a 14,200-foot camp tomorrow.
